A career… and a calling!

Join the Rockford Rescue Mission team! You’ll be joining with others in a ministry that provides help and hope to change lives in Jesus’ name. It’s essential that all staff at RRM have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and subscribe to our Vision, Mission and Core Values.

We consider every position one of ministry and a vital and valued part of our team. Staff are encouraged and expected to share the Gospel as opportunities arise. Our workplace is unique and we are a ministry first and foremost. We respect the beliefs of all, but reserve and exercise our right to hire only those who share our faith convictions and beliefs.

We are looking for team members who….

  • Want to make a difference in our community
  • Are committed to inner-city mission ministry
  • Desire to passionately share God’s love with those in need
  • Are excited to develop relationships with donors and volunteers
  • Enjoy preparing and serving meals
  • Are dedicated to supporting men and women through life recovery
  • Seek to serve and lead by prayer and spiritual guidance

And above all, a heart to serve that allows RRM to continue pursuing God’s work!

While Rockford Rescue Mission staff take care of others in our community, RRM works to take care of our staff members so they can best carry out their roles and missions.
