Executive Administrative Assistant (full-time)
Provide support and serve as primary point of contact for internal and external clients on matters pertaining to the Chief Executive Officer. The Administrative Assistant also serves as a liaison to the Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team. Provide confidential executive administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer and Leadership Team in alignment with RRM’s mission, values and goals and be responsible for organizing and coordinating appointments for external relations efforts. Provide administrative support to the Development Department. Help manage Development operations. Complete project-based work assigned by Development leadership.
Homeless Services Director (full-time)
Supervise all aspects of the Men’s and Women’s Crisis departments as well as the Mission’s outreach to the homeless community. Develop and maintain daily operational procedures to ensure positive outcomes for all Crisis and Community Meal guests. Be actively involved in creating effective and accountable Crisis programming that promotes growth toward personal and spiritual wholeness for all guests. Ensure that each guest is presented with a clear explanation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Supervise Crisis staff and volunteers.
Assistant Controller (full-time)
Provide support to the Finance and Information Technology (IT) departments. Support systems, reporting, compliance, policies, and procedures in accordance with Mission goals, objectives and applicable regulations. Facilitate the development of a $9 million annual operating budget. Support the Leadership Team to ensure the optimal selection and use of technological solutions; support vendor/broker agreements and conduct feasibility assessments.
Accounting Assistant (full-time)
Accounting Assistant is responsible for capturing, developing, synthesizing, safeguarding, sharing, and presenting data – data that is consumable as information. This position also supports cash management and plays a crucial role in ensuring the Mission’s invoices are paid timely and accurately and supporting documentation is maintained.
Chief Financial Officer (full-time)
Provide support, oversight, leadership, and direction to the Finance and Information Technology (IT) departments. Oversee and direct strategy, systems, reporting, compliance, policies, and procedures in accordance with Mission goals, objectives, and applicable regulations. Responsible for oversight of an $8.6 million annual operating budget. Collaborate with the Leadership Team to ensure the optimal selection and use of technological solutions; support vendor/broker agreements and information management and conduct feasibility assessments.
Chief Programs Officer (full-time)
Pursue the accomplishment of agreed-upon outcome goals for Life Recovery residents and Crisis guests by analyzing, strengthening, changing, systematizing and integrating the program and by providing motivation, direction, training and other assistance to the supervisors of respective programs.
Gifts Officer (full-time)
Cultivate relationships through monthly stewardship strategies to engage major donors, planned giving prospects and new donors.
Development Coordinator (full-time)
Provide administrative support to the Development Department. Effectively help manage development operations. Complete project-based work assigned by Development leadership.
Donor/Business Relations Specialist (full-time)
Cultivate and solicit all assigned donors and donor groups through stewardship strategies. Assist donors in achieving their stewardship goals. This will be accomplished through relationship building through various donor cultivation strategies.
Cook (full-time and part-time)
Prepare and cook meals for residents and guests of Rockford Rescue Mission.
Driver (part-time)
Under the supervision and direction of the Food Services Supervisor, safely and courteously pick up donations from designated donors and deliver to RRM.
Women’s Crisis Center Day Coordinator (full-time)
Assist with the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual needs of homeless individuals seeking emergency shelter at Rockford Rescue Mission’s Women’s Crisis Shelter. Implement program policies and procedures. Provide assistance, encouragement, motivation, and direction to all guests. Monitor the safety and security of Crisis guests, visitors and volunteers. Maintain daily operations to ensure a non-threatening, drug- and alcohol-free environment for our guests. Be actively involved in making the program effective and accountable. Supervise orientation procedures. Assist the supervisor as needed. Coordinate resources with other community agencies.
Associate/Cashier (part-time)
Check out customers in an efficient and Christlike manner. Assist in preparation of cash register drawers. Maintain the appearance of the sales floor by ensuring continual maintenance of all areas. This includes replacing/rearranging merchandise throughout the day to ensure everything is in the proper place and displayed in a neat, shopper-friendly way. Assist with timely transition from season to season and in the pricing of merchandise. Dress windows to attract customers and reflect the seasons.
Processor (part-time)
Prepare merchandise for the sales floor.
